New Features

Automated data source certification!

Say goodbye to manually certifying data sources.

You'll now notice a new tab in your functional tests called "post-process actions."

The data source certification functionality in this tab allows you to automatically certify and decertify Tableau data sources based upon the results of your functional test.

If your test passes, the data source you selected will be marked certified, and a message will be included with it.

If it fails or partially-passes, the data source will be decertified.

It's like having a personal assistant managing data source certification whenever your tests are running! ✅

New downloadable dashboard to monitor testing data!

We know you love dashboards AND want to monitor the ones you've deployed for quality.

And as members of the #datafam in good standing, many of you have requested a Tableau dashboard to do this.

Wish granted!

We've created a new downloadable dashboard that'll make it easy for you to do this. It uses testing data from Wiiisdom, which is available to you via our PostgreSQL integration. Using this dashboard, you can see lots of things, like:

-Which dashboard views had test failures
-What the tasks were that failed
-How long it took to run certain tests

Of course, if you're a Tableau creator, you can customize the dashboard however you wish!

Reminder: Use PostgreSQL Integration to Collect Data

Our PostgreSQL integration isn't new, but it must be utilized to collect data to be used for the new dashboard mentioned above.

Once you're collecting data from your tests in your PostgreSQL database, you can use it to monitor the quality of your dashboards, find issues, and make improvements.

If you missed the recent enhancements we made to optimize our PostgreSQL integration for analytics, check out our last release notes for 2023.2.

Improved scrollbar displaying test results

We've made improvements to our scrollbar on the left side of Wiiisdom. It'll now be easier for you to navigate and find the tests you need with this improved design.

These new features were developed to help you spend less time on manual work, and more on what you do best -- deploying innovative dashboards and analytics initiatives!

Change Logs

⏰ As announced in previous releases, we now no longer support Tableau Server 2018.x. Make sure to update your Contexts before opening them with Wiiisdom Ops 2023.1+ to avoid any issues.

🔒Note that SSL will begin being enforced for e-mail/webhook integration in the next release (2023.3).

❗ From 2023.2, the already deprecated Drive Browser Command "Deselect by Text" will be removed from Wiiisdom Ops.
