New Features
Dynamic Data Source Certification Message with Merge Tags
We're enhancing the functionality of our Data Source Certification process by introducing the ability to use merge tags in certification and decertification messages.
This new feature is designed for users who leverage "Data Source Certification" Post-Process Actions (PPAs) in their Tableau Extract and Functional Tests, offering a more dynamic and informative approach to handling data source status updates.
Benefits:
- Dynamic Values: Incorporate merge tags into your certification and decertification messages, allowing for the inclusion of dynamic information directly within your message content.
- Customized Messaging: Tailor your messages to include specific details about each test run, providing clearer insights and context for recipients.
- Efficient Communication: Automatically translate merge tags into relevant data upon test execution, streamlining the process of communicating data source statuses.
PostgreSQL Integration Update: Visibility of Extra URL Parameters Enhanced
Building on the enhancements introduced in version 2024.2, where Extra URL Parameters were made visible in test reports, we are excited to announce a further update to our PostgreSQL Integration feature.
Now, not only can you view these parameters within your test reports, but they are also seamlessly integrated into your PostgreSQL database. This development is aimed at providing Wiiisdom users with an even more comprehensive and detailed analysis capability.
With Extra URL Parameters now accessible in both test reports and the PostgreSQL database, users gain a fuller understanding of the data context, enhancing accuracy and insight for dashboard development and data interpretation.
Introducing Partial Snapshots for Enhanced Efficiency
We've upgraded our snapshot feature for Regression and Functional Tests to tackle the frustration of halted processes due to canvas errors.
Now, in the Designer and CLI, you can take partial snapshots even when encountering errors during design phases or filter tests.
This feature is enabled by default and can be disabled in the Settings menu.
This update boosts your workflow efficiency by allowing error bypassing without manually deactivating snapshot content.

This change is aimed at optimizing the application's efficiency and responsiveness, ensuring a smoother user experience.
Intel-Based Chip Support: Users with Intel-based macOS devices who require access to our application can still obtain a compatible version by reaching out to our support team.
