Managing future tasks in environments with dense scheduling is challenging due to the limitations of the Calendar View, which can make it difficult to focus on upcoming workloads.
To enhance clarity and reduce the risk of overlooking important tasks, a new List View has been introduced in the Scheduling Manager.
This view highlights only running, future, and recurring tasks (limited to the next occurrence), offering a cleaner and more structured way to navigate and edit schedules.
A toggle allows seamless switching between Calendar and List Views, helping maintain focus on what’s ahead.
Manually updating database passwords after each rotation has long been a tedious and error-prone task, especially in environments with strict security policies.
To reduce operational overhead and improve compliance, a new API now enables automatic password updates across all registered databases within the application.
This enhancement removes the need for manual updates and credential sharing, while requiring an Access Token for authentication, ensuring that password management is both centralized and protected by secure, token-based access control.
Finding relevant support and documentation links has often required unnecessary effort, especially when navigating the About or Login pages.
To improve accessibility and reduce friction, key resources such as documentation, support, release notes, Office Hours, and the knowledge base are now clearly labeled and visually distinct.
These updates ensure that essential information is easier to locate, both inside the application and before logging in, helping maintain focus and efficiency.
To improve visibility and prevent unintended license reuse, license activation is now tied to a unique Hardware ID generated by each server.
This change helps ensure licenses are used where needed and provides clearer insights for support teams.
It does not restrict legitimate multi-server usagen, licenses can still be activated on multiple servers by simply contacting the Customer Success Team. Previously, static hardware identifiers made it difficult to enforce proper license control and increased the risk of misuse.
Activation limits are now clearly communicated, guiding teams toward resolution when needed.
Important announcements may have gone unnoticed due to their discreet placement behind a notification icon, requiring multiple clicks to access.
To ensure timely awareness of updates, the message panel now opens automatically when new information is available, either during an active session or upon login.
This change helps bring critical messages to the forefront, reducing the risk of missing essential updates.
Setting up databases across different modules in the 360Suite platform has often been inconsistent, with varying interfaces and behaviors that could lead to confusion and errors.
This update introduces a standardized configuration flow across all modules, including 360Eyes and the Administration Console, ensuring a more intuitive and efficient experience. Smart defaults now pre-fill JDBC URLs based on the selected database type, while still allowing full customization.
For products like 360Eyes that support multiple databases, the interface now includes alias management and clearer organization. These improvements aim to simplify setup without limiting flexibility.
Managing tasks with multiple recurring or external executions has often led to confusion, especially when trying to track or update individual runs.
This update introduces a clearer separation between tasks and executions. Actions like converting a one-time task into a recurring or external one now result in the creation of a new task, rather than modifying the existing one.
The submit button has been updated to reflect this change, now labeled “Create as new task.” Additional improvements include the removal of duplicate options, the external panel, and the ability to delete external links directly from the task list.
Retention settings have also been simplified, focusing on execution count and duration. These changes improve clarity and control without limiting flexibility.
Repointing or migrating a universe in SAP BusinessObjects has often required manual filtering and complex steps to identify all related WebIntelligence documents.
To simplify this process and reduce the risk of oversight, a new feature in 360View allows for the automatic extraction of all public and personal WebIntelligence documents and their associated DataProviders, linked to a specific universe. The output is a ready-to-use Excel file, optimized for large-scale environments.
This enhancement is designed to support planning and execution at scale, without limiting flexibility.
Generic log messages like “processing data” have often made it difficult to understand what’s happening during Administration and Documentation tasks, leading to uncertainty, manual troubleshooting, and delays, especially in complex environments.
This update introduces detailed, contextual logs that surface specific information such as the name of the object being processed or the user being purged.
These improvements provide clearer visibility into task execution and reduce the need for manual checks. While the goal is to improve transparency and operational efficiency, it does not change how tasks are run.
Extracting parameters from WebIntelligence documents has often led to confusion due to the lack of distinction between Context, Prompt, and SAP Variable types.
This update introduces a clearer classification during the extraction process, helping teams better understand how documents function and reducing the risk of misconfiguration.
The enhancement includes updates to the SAP BusinessObjects Extract task, database schema, and universe layer to reflect the new parameter structure and naming.
These changes improve clarity without altering existing workflows
Monitoring SAP Data Services jobs has been limited by a narrow set of execution status values, often defaulting to “Unknown” for jobs using recovery options. This made it difficult to assess job behavior and troubleshoot effectively.
The update introduces support for two additional recovery-related flags: “R = Enable Recovery” and “Y = Recover from Last Failed Execution,” along with combinations of these statuses.
These values are now captured in the job execution metadata, offering clearer insight into recovery configurations and helping reduce downtime through more informed analysis.
This enhancement improves transparency without changing existing workflows.
Understanding how the platform is used across teams has often required manual checks or external reporting, making it harder to identify areas for improvement or ensure optimal usage.
A new feature in the Admin Console now allows administrators to receive automated email summaries detailing activity across the 360Suite platform. These reports include metrics such as task counts, success and failure rates, backups, document sends, and more, segmented by product and license.
The configuration is flexible, administrators can choose recipients and set the frequency to weekly or monthly.
This enhancement is designed to support better decision-making and platform oversight without limiting access or functionality.
