👻 Spooky Season 👻 has started and it is time for us to release our final version of the year!

This update will give you better insights into your environment and help you determine if you’re ready to migrate to BI 2025. We focused on improving 360Eyes inside 360Suite, by adding Collibra, logs for the SAP BusinessObjects task. We’ve also added many requested features and fixed various issues.

💡Important Information💡

It has been a year since we announced that 360Eyes will no longer be a standalone application. This version will be the final standalone release of 360Eyes. Starting from version 2025.1, 360Eyes will only receive updates and modifications through 360Suite. We will no longer provide standalone versions.

We strongly recommend migrating your standalone version to 360Suite as soon as possible to ensure continued support and updates.

New Features: 360Suite Core

Audit your environment for BI 2025

With BI2025 approaching, we wanted to help you check if your migration will be straightforward. You can now configure the task in the administration console. Based on your platform’s state, you’ll see the results on the main page of the application.

In the next release, some labels will change to make the information clearer. Currently, we only show the number of Multi-Sources Universes that can be converted, not all of them.

For Lumira, we’ll always display a warning if you have any Lumira documents, even though only Lumira Discovery will be removed from BI 2025. If you only have Lumira Designer documents, you can ignore this warning.

Better Session Handling

When logging into multiple platforms, you used to have to log in and then switch users to access the new one. Now, we automatically switch to the new user and return you to the page you were on before.

We’ve also added the authentication type used in a task, so you can better understand which session was used.

Tag usage

When filtering a task list, you used to have to select all the tags manually. Now, you can select all tags at once with a single click.

We’ve also added colors to the tags, making them easier to identify. Feel free to brighten up your 360Suite!

New Features : 360Suite Solutions

360Cast

In our last release, we introduced a way for you to audit the 360Cast execution.

Now, we’re excited to offer a new feature that lets you preview them while they’re still pending. This means you can check that all dynamic variables are correctly set and the data looks just right. You’ll get an Excel file that shows a preview of the task.

360Eyes

We’ve added aliases to database names to make them easier to find in tasks. Using aliases is optional; if you don’t set one, we’ll display the URL as we always have. This feature is especially handy if you’re using Oracle, where only the username might differ.

360Eyes for SAP BusinessObjects

You can now view logs in real-time directly in 360Suite, so there’s no need to check the Tomcat logs. These logs contain only the most important information.

This feature will also be available for 360Eyes for SAP DataServices in the future.

Repoint Webi

We now give you the possibility to download the Public Data Providers Documentation to help you repoint the documents easily.

360Eyes for Collibra

You can now run a 360Eyes for Collibra task directly within 360Suite.

If needed, you can create multiple profiles to set up multiple tasks. The CMA for Collibra is also available in the 360Suite Administration Console.
