The Priority Monitoring is a brand-new page designed to completely transform how you stay ahead of performance challenges in your Power BI environment. Instead of reacting to problems after they impact users, you’ll now have a crystal-clear view of what reports need attention today, and what’s likely to matter in the next seven days.

Reports are now ranked by a dynamic priority score, calculated from recent behavior and future forecasts so you always know where to act first. Each entry comes with performance insights like load times, usage patterns, and trend predictions, plus smart, actionable suggestions to optimize performance before issues snowball. With one click, dive into detailed charts and recommendations tailored to each report. This means faster decision-making, fewer disruptions, and a fully optimized Power BI experience for your users.

The new Capacity Planning page is a central hub designed to help Power BI platform owners and admins eliminate surprises, cut costs, and protect performance. You get deep visibility into each monitored capacity, historical trends, future forecasts, and actionable insights, all in one powerful dashboard. No more guesswork, no more unexpected throttling, just clear, data-driven control of your BI platform.

Each capacity comes with a full context view, from SKU state badges (so you know if you’re underpowered or overspending) to forecasted CU consumption and throttling risk. Dive into visual graphs showing the last 15 days of usage plus 7-day forecasts, explore top-consuming workspaces and objects in detail, and sort by real business context like workspace name, owner, and capacity SKU.

With Capacity Planning, you can easily identify risks early and take proactive steps to keep your BI environment efficient and responsive.

You can now add an “Apply Bookmark” sub-step to your Simulation workflows, allowing you to select a bookmark and automatically apply it during execution for a more contextualized run.
Once applied, the step captures a screenshot reflecting that bookmark state, giving you clear, visual checkpoints aligned with your selected data view.
You can now add an “Check Visual Displayed” sub-step to your Simulation workflows, allowing you to pick a page and select visuals to verify directly in your workflow.
During execution, the step checks if selected visuals are visible, success if displayed, failure if not, with the report clearly highlighting which visuals were validated for full clarity and traceability.
You can now enable an optional post-deployment action in Deploy Content (Cross Environment) to automatically trigger a Power BI semantic model refresh immediately after a successful promotion.
This ensures your promoted models become usable in the target environment without manual steps. The refresh runs in a fire-and-forget mode, without blocking pipeline progress, and detailed outcomes are surfaced in the execution report and logs. This provides clear visibility into refresh requests while keeping deployments efficient and seamless.
You can now configure a Deploy Content step using a visual tree view of the source workspace folder structure, showing semantic models and reports with clear, distinct icons.
The tree supports multi-selection, including entire folders to select all contained items, ensuring easier governance and precise control over what gets deployed, while omitting empty folders for a cleaner experience.
SQL Data Validation just got more transparent with new SQL and Tableau Cloud previews right in the step configuration (Tableau Server support is on our roadmap). You can now review the queries and dashboards data at design time to ensure accuracy before running your pipeline.
Run details have also been boosted with detailed mismatch and comparison insights, making it easier to diagnose discrepancies and validate data quality with confidence.
▪ BI Digest gets styling refinements with better header alignment, consistent table fonts, and clearer evolution indicators using “faster” and “slower” for intuitive readability.
▪ You can now remove your MFA devices directly from the Account Settings page, giving you full control over your authentication methods without waiting for admin support.
