To address this, we have added new data fields to the execution report, including the start date with second-level accuracy, UTC timezone in ISO format, the BI user executing the pipeline, and the WCP technical version. Additionally, we have provided more context regarding the Tableau site or PowerBI tenant used and the platform version at that time.
This enhancement ensures that the reports are comprehensive and meet regulatory standards.

Description: Dataset Refresh steps systematically ends in error

▪ When a report cannot be opened because of a timeout, the step ends in success (Impact: High)
Description: When a reports is too long to load or loads infinitely, the Open Report steps times out as expected but marks the step as success instead of error.

▪ When tables and columns has no lineage tag it is impossible to validate dataset steps (Impact: High)
Description: For some datasets (especially historical datasets), the Row Count, Column Statistics and Dataset Values step stay invalid while configuring the pipeline.

▪ When the dataset is not in the same workspace as the report, we cannot run NRT nor simulation jobs (Impact: High)
Description: If a report is directly based on a semantic model that is in another workspace, NRT and simulation steps end in error with a “EntityNotFound” message

▪ Visual comparison may display a similarity of 100% even when there are differences (Impact: Low)
Description: If the differences in your reports are on a small enough scope, the similarity score will be rounded to 100% instead of 99%
