If you are not using the Tomcat server embedded with 360Suite, please contact Wiiisdom Support.
Symptoms
When upgrading an old installation (204.1.2 and lower) to a more recent one (2024.2 and higher), the setup fails with the following page:
The logs mentioned in the error in red can be found in C:\Windows\360Suite\logs
These will be useful for the Support team if your problem is not resolved with the steps below.
Procedure
- Go to the installation folder of 360Suite, in which the Tomcat server was deployed.
- There should be a folder named apache-tomcat-9.0.xx where xx is a two-digit number.
- Go to the Windows Registry Editor (type "regedit" in the Windows search bar).
- Go to the following location: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\GBANDSMITH\430 or HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\GBANDSMITH\424 (depending on your BOBJ Version, either 4.2 or 4.3).
- When exploring either the 424 or 430 folder, registry keys will be listed on the right side.
- Search for the key named tomcatDir and check its value.
- If the tomcatDir value is different from the Tomcat folder name in the installation folder, change the value so that it is identical to the folder name.
(e.g. the folder is named "apache-tomcat-9.0.84" but the value of the tomcatDir key is "apache-tomcat-9.0.71" → change the tomcatDir value to "apache-tomcat-9.0.84".)
(e.g. the folder is named "apache-tomcat-9.0.84" but the value of the tomcatDir key is "apache-tomcat-9.0.71" → change the tomcatDir value to "apache-tomcat-9.0.84".)
- Restart the installation process.
If any of the steps are unclear, or if the tomcatDir value is identical to the folder name, please contact Wiiisdom Support.
