Empty Hardware Fingerprint

Condition

In the License tab of the Designer settings, the Hardware Fingerprint field is empty.

Solution

This Hardware Fingerprint is retrieved using the CLI:

  • Make sure that the CLI exists in the "<Wiiisdom-Ops-for-Tableau-home>/kinesis-cli/" folder ("kinesis.bat/kinesis" scripts)
  • Confirm that you have all the prerequisites to be able to run the CLI: the "kinesis.bat -v" (or "kinesis -v") command returns the current version of the Wiiisdom Ops for Tableau applications.
