Known Issues
Symptom
The following error pops up when you try to log on to your SAP Business Objects CMS with 360Bind configured:
org.xml.sax.SAXNotRecognizedException: Feature '
http://javax.xml.xmlconstants/feature/secure-processing
' is not recognized.
Environment
360Suite Legacy
SAP BusinessObjects Business Intelligence 4.1
SAP BusinessObjects Business Intelligence 4.2
Tomcat
Reproducing the issue
Log into 360Suite Legacy 360Bind.
Configure your 360Bind repository.
Logoff and log into the application again to use it.
An error message appears:
Cause
This issue is caused by a library incompatible with Java 8.
Resolution
Download
this file:
xercesImpl-2.9.1.jar
.
Stop
the
Tomcat
server hosting the 360Suite Legacy application.
Delete
the
xercesImpl.jar
file from the
<Tomcat>/webapps/360/WEB-INF/lib
folder.
Copy
the previously downloaded file to
<Tomcat>/webapps/360/WEB-INF/lib
Restart Tomcat.
